Tutorial - Test Using Simulator
|
The Simulator function runs the application as if it were actually
answering the phone and interacting with the caller. You play the part
of the caller. You use the speakers of your computer to listen to the
application just as you use the ear piece of the telephone to listen to
the application on the phone. Use a Microphone plugged into your
computer instead of the telephone mouth piece. Finally, the Simulator
puts up a telephone keepad dialog to allow you to interact with the
application as if you were pushing buttons on the phone.
To bring up the Simulator click on the
Simulator menu on the Top Menu of AGE and select RUN. It looks like
this: |
Choosing the RUN Button starts the simulation. You should hear
the Answer Prompt playing and then Menu1. The Keypad Simulator also
appears. Click on the buttons here as if you were clicking on buttons
on the telephone keypad.
The Keypad Simulator looks like this:
|
That's all there is to it. When you get to the disconnect, click
the OK button on the Keypad Simulator and it will go away. To start
over, just click on the Simulator Menu again.
If you want to hear your application working on an IVR over the phone
before you make the final jump and purchase Equipment and RAGE licenses,
E-Mail us the application file with your voice files. We'll put it up
on one of our test boxes and you can call it up and hear it over the
phone:
